This is Tonya. And, the night we met Tonya, it was her birthday! Tonya’s really kind husband noticed us doing a photo session while he waited for Tonya to join him for a birthday dinner and thought some birthday photos would be a nice surprise. Well, you know Shebee, we’re always excited to bring the surprise! So, shortly after talking to her now-excited husband, Sherona and I wrapped our client session and prepared to surprise Tonya with a bit of glamor before she had a great meal.
Tonya was absolutely lovely, being pleasantly surprised by the photoshoot idea, and up for a bit of fun! We went head and got our small lighting setup ready in the lobby and started snapping. Sherona chatted it up with Tonya, who informed us she and her husband had gotten out for a night on the town, successfully sending the kids to the grandparents for the night. Grandma and Grandpa time for the win! Tonya wore a pretty and relaxed outfit in an orange that really worked well with her skin. Lucky for us, the hotel’s lobby was decorated in warm earth tones that look great with Tonya’s outfit. We took a few shots on a great couch under the grand chandelier in the lobby, then shifted around to a more quiet area of the hotel.
We took a few more shots here, again conversing with Tonya about her birthday plans for dinner, and the drinks she planned on ordering! 😁 Tonya was excited to get out of the house after a busy few weeks, and even more excited about the impromptu photos she’d receive to remember the evening. We thanked Tonya and her husband, then packed up all our equipment. We can’t wait to get these photos to Tonya ASAP!
