Family Session

Tallahassee, Fl

It’s fall ya’ll! We’re back in beautiful Tallahassee for another fun shoot! This time, we’re meeting up with Gail, a loving grandmother looking to get a few Autumn photos with her adored grands. We knew just the thing! We had Gail meet up with us at a local pumpkin patch on a bright and sunny morning with her 3 grandchildren and some fun unexpected guests. Sherona and I pulled out our cameras and got ready to deliver some magic!

As soon as we were wrapping our wagon shots, this little squirt started cheesing like crazy!

We think he planned it.

First up, we started out with the teeny tots, posing the boys in their tiny wagon. Pedro and Timetayo were two very lively tots who just refused to give Sherona and I a smile! They were dressed adorably in plaid paired with cute little cowboy boots and jeans. We worked to coax a smile out of the two, but the boys only had smiles for nana!

We moved on to a brighter part of the patch where there was more open space for a few action shots to help the boys get used to the camera. The boys started having a BLAST, and we got in some great group shots with everyone. Also, we seem to have spotted Santa before his busy season! The bright sun shone down on the patch, warm and golden, making all of the leaves and pumpkins appear to have even more vibrant colors and hues. Sherona and I made sure we didn’t miss a second of the magic!

Next up, we had the gang pose for a few hay bale pictures. The girls were ready for their close-up, but the guys were back on a smile strike. I'm sure Gail will have a good laugh with the boys when they get older about their refusal to give us that smile!

A quick change in location took us to a nearby park where Sherona and I thought we could catch a few good moments if we let the children play and enjoy each other. Immediately after arriving we were able to capture this precious grin from the littlest guy so we met our goal!! After we captured that gold, it was time to let the kiddos enjoy themselves, and so they did!

Gail joined in on the fun, and led a lively game of hide and seek to everyone’s delight, though no one did a particularly good job of hiding! We wrapped the fun-filled morning with another group shot after having had such a blast. These guys were so great to work with’ and the genuine love between them shone as bright as the day…. Can’t wait to capture more of their memories!!
